Executive Assistant to the President

Reports to: President
Salary: DOE
Overall Responsibilities

  • Conserves President’s time and promotes the corporate image by representing the President internally and externally; acts as liaison between the President, key LogiSYS executives, and employees; enhances communication internally within the corporation.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Represents the President by reviewing correspondence, arranging functions, and answering questions
  • Provide administrative support to the President
  • Helps key executives make consistent decisions by advising them of historical precedents; serves as liaison between them and the President
  • Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans;
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementation changes while working closely with the President and other executives
  • Conducts research, and assembles and analyzes data to prepare reports and documents
  • Monitors, responds to, and distributes incoming communications (e-mail/phone/internal inquiries) for the President in an effort to enhance responsiveness
  • Assess and monitor direction given by the President’s office to assure completion
  • All other duties as assigned by the President’s office

Skills & Specifications

  • 2+ years’ experience assisting Executive-level employees
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or related field preferred
  • Proficient skills in MS Office
    • Advanced skills in MS Excel are helpful
  • Presentation-making and preparation skills preferred (PowerPoint)
  • Effective in your written communication
  • Understanding of and promotion of process improvement
  • Exhibits good decision-making skills
